With a built-in catalog of 38 workouts, it’s going to take a while to get bored on this machine, and an iFit membership will only further your options.  The Elite 14.7 has 26 resistance levels, so it’s ideal for both beginning users and those who are as elite as this product.  There is a 325 lb weight capacity for this machine, which makes it usable for most. With special SMR™ Silent Magnetic Resistence, the overall dynamics of this elliptical are smooth and silent.

Our Least Favorite Features

 Overall, the NordicTrack Elite 14.7 is a well-regarded machine. Of course, like any fitness unit, it comes with a few hiccups:

• A lifetime frame warranty is great, but a 2-year labor warranty and a 5-year parts warranty leads to a point in your elliptical’s life where you may have to pay for expensive replacement parts out of pocket.
• Feature-packed machines run more of a risk for things to go wrong, including technical glitches and broken wheels.

The Bottom Line

This is an incredibly impressive machine. While NordicTrack has been stingy on fitness programs in the past, this one comes with 38 workouts with the option to add endless more with iFit. With a quiet motor and a safe, sturdy frame, the adjustable pedals and handgrips make for a customized, effective workout. Enjoy the full color touch screen display featuring an Android browser, allowing you to get work done while getting fit too. If you’re looking for a mid-priced elliptical that will keep you challenged and inspired while still being reasonable in terms of space and maintenance, then the Elite 14.7 will likely suit you well.
